At Mid Georgia Turf Solutions, we offer a one-year lawn care program that consists of fertilization, weed control, and pre-emergent to give your lawn all the necessary nutrients it needs in order to stay clean and healthy throughout the year. Our innovative weed control and fertilization lawn care program consists of eight applications specifically designed to protect the investment you’ve made in your lawn by keeping it healthy and preventing weed growth which often results in less time and money spent mowing your lawn.

Late Winter and Early Spring Pre-Emergent
When Mid Georgia Turf Solutions comes to your home or business for the first application of the seven-application treatment program, our focus is on preventing crab grass and spring weeds using a specially formulated pre-emergence solution. During this application, we will also treat your lawn with a post-emergent to control any broad leaf weeds that have sprung up in your yard. Application one and two typically take place between January and April.

Early Spring Fertilizer
No one can deny the beauty of a healthy, green yard when the weather starts to get warm again. Application three of Mid Georgia Turf Solutions’ weed control and fertilization program is all about an early spring fertilization for green up and growth in order to jump start your lawn for that beautiful, healthy look of summer. We typically do application three between April and June.

Summer Fertilizer and Pre-Emergent
Summer in Middle Georgia can be unbearably hot and especially tough on our lawns. Application four is designed to give your lawn the fertilizer it needs to remain greener and last longer throughout the heat of the summer. Mid Georgia Turf Solutions performs application four between June and August.

Fall Fertilizer
By taking advantage of the eight-application weed control and fertilization program, you are beginning the process of protecting your lawn for the following year. Our fifth and sixth applications focus on further boosting your lawn and conditioning it to fight spring weeds before they even start growing the next year. Application five and six typically take place between late August and November.
Application7
Late Fall Pre-Emergent
Pre-emergent at this time helps tackle any fall or winter weed seeds so that they do not emerge from the ground and spread their seeds across the rest of your lawn. Even though fall is the time for plants to begin to go dormant, it’s when fall and winter weeds start thriving. It’s important at this time to kill off these weeds and keep your yard entirely weed-free.

Winter Root Growth
In order to enhance root growth during an otherwise dormant season, we use a fertilizer high in potassium, which strengthens roots and helps to prevent injury. By the time spring is in the air, your lawn will be green, gorgeous, and healthy. We perform application eight between November and December.
